Software Engineer (Java, Spring Boot, Cloud‑native)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our modern, cloud‑native development team. The position is fully remote, with a preference for candidates based in Albania, and offers the chance to work on scalable systems using the latest AI‑assisted development tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java microservices using Spring Boot.
• Integrate event‑driven architectures with Apache Kafka.
• Collaborate with front‑end teams to build responsive interfaces with React.
• Deploy and operate services on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Leverage AI coding assistants (Claude, Codex, Copilot) to accelerate development.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands‑on work with microservices and Kafka.
• Good knowledge of React for front‑end integration.
• Familiarity with cloud‑native environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Comfortable using AI development tools.
• Intermediate Italian and solid English communication skills.
