Senior Product Manager

About the role

Own a new product from proof of concept through launch for a North American client. The concept is defined and early build is underway; you will drive the product to a committed general‑availability date, working backward from that deadline.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain product scope, decide what ships for launch versus post‑launch roadmap, and communicate decisions to senior stakeholders and customers.
• Own requirements for integrating multiple third‑party data sources, determining manual versus automated processes and evolving integration depth over time.
• Work hands‑on with a small engineering team: manage the backlog, resolve gaps between design intent and platform capabilities, and escalate only changes that affect product concept or value.
• Translate early customer interest into validated requirements, secure pilots or early adopters, and build the release plan (sequencing, dependencies, risk log, readiness gates) working backward from a fixed launch date.
• Ensure launch readiness, including demo and trade‑show preparation and coordination with marketing and sales.
• Represent the product in senior forums, provide status updates, evidence, and direction, and make evidence‑based go/no‑go recommendations.

Required profile

• 5+ years of product management experience, with at least one 0‑to‑1 product delivered from concept to launch or pilot.
• Ownership of a pilot or early‑access program, defining success criteria, managing customer relationships, and delivering go/no‑go recommendations.
• Experience in customer discovery, turning early interest into validated requirements and committed early adopters.
• Track record of defining requirements for integration‑heavy products that combine data from multiple third‑party sources.
• Demonstrated ability to hold scope under pressure from stakeholders, design, engineering, and customers.
• Hands‑on technical fluency: managing a backlog, working closely with a small engineering team, and making trade‑off decisions.
• Comfortable operating independently while maintaining close communication with senior leadership.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
