ETL Engineer – Remote

About the role

BairesDev is seeking an experienced ETL Engineer to join its globally distributed development team. You will work remotely on a variety of data integration projects for clients ranging from large enterprises to innovative startups.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain new ETL solutions that meet business requirements.
• Analyze and improve performance of existing ETL jobs, redesigning processes to eliminate bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with the team to model, develop, and maintain SQL database objects for all solutions.
• Support the full lifecycle of database development, from design through testing and production deployment.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in ETL solution development.
• Strong background in relational database modeling and SQL development.
• Experience working in multicultural, distributed teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (highly desirable).
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Required skills

• ETL development and optimization.
• SQL and relational database design.
• Python programming (a plus).
• Database development, design, analysis, and support.
