Senior Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design and deliver high‑performance, scalable solutions for our client’s C#/.NET backend and React frontend. The role combines hands‑on coding with technical leadership, mentoring junior engineers and shaping the product roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimise backend services using C#/.NET, including data models, performance tuning and AWS integrations (Lambda, RDS, OpenSearch).
• Build and maintain React‑based frontend applications with a focus on user experience, scalability and maintainability.
• Lead technical decisions for geospatial data processing, mapping (Leaflet) and API design (RESTful WebAPI or GraphQL).
• Act as Tech Lead within Scrum pods, providing architecture guidance, conducting code reviews and mentoring team members.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, DevOps and QA to ensure smooth sprint execution and delivery of cross‑functional features.
• Promote best practices in CI/CD, automated testing, security (Identity Server) and operational excellence.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in C#/.NET and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Advanced knowledge of React in large‑scale applications.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS microservices (Lambda, RDS, OpenSearch).
• Familiarity with geospatial tools such as Leaflet and API technologies (REST, GraphQL).
