Tax Consultant - Business Tax Advisory

About the role

EY's Tax Practice in Tirana is looking for a motivated and ambitious Tax Consultant to join its Business Tax Advisory team. The teams support and deliver tax advice for clients across Albania and abroad, and the consultant will gain technical knowledge and industry experience while developing business advisory experience and client exposure under the guidance of senior tax professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of local and international taxation.
• Take part in tax advisory engagements and deliver high-quality drafts.
• Join discussions with clients and international EY offices on projects and meetings.
• Work in a diverse cross-border team and mentor junior colleagues.

Required profile

• Degree in tax, law, finance, economics or another relevant field.
• Strong knowledge of Albanian tax legislation.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in tax, accounting or another financial consulting and advisory firm.
• Excellent spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of PC software, including MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Communication and soft skills.
