Small Business Advisor (South Region)

About the role

Tirana Bank, part of the BALFIN Group, is looking for a Small Business Advisor for the South Region (Vlore, Fier, Lushnje) within its Retail Division. The post reports directly to the Small Business Segment Manager and the Business Development District Manager. The advisor acquires new small business customers, develops close relationships with them and promotes the bank's products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and propose new business opportunities and arrange regular meetings with customers to understand their needs.
• Maintain systematic contact with each customer under a predefined action plan and business objectives.
• Provide periodic reports to the supervisor and coordinate cross-selling with other units of the bank.
• Prepare preliminary financial offers and financing proposals, verify customer information and negotiate terms until the agreement is accepted.
• Follow up cases from decision to loan disbursement and file documentation.
• Collect and evaluate customer feedback to improve processes and systems.
• Act in line with anti-money laundering and other compliance policies, handle complaints and perform any other delegated duties.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in economics or a related field; a master's degree is preferable.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in banking or financial institutions; similar experience is an advantage.
• Strong command of English, written and spoken.
