Site Engineer – Façade Projects

About the role

Aluflor America is looking for a highly motivated Site Engineer in Tirana to oversee and manage on-site operations so that projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. The role coordinates with contractors, suppliers and project teams while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and technical specifications. It suits someone with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle several tasks in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily site activities so work is completed on time and according to specifications.
• Review and interpret technical drawings, shop drawings and material specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors and site workers.
• Carry out quality control checks and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Report progress, challenges and resource needs to the project management team.
• Provide technical support and resolve on-site issues quickly.
• Ensure proper use and installation of façade systems, aluminium profiles, glass and related materials.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in construction, preferably in façade or building envelope projects.
• Familiarity with façade systems, aluminium, glass and installation processes.
• Leadership and communication skills for managing site teams.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Fluency in Albanian; English is required for communication with partners and suppliers.

Required skills

• AutoCAD and MS Office
• Revit or other BIM tools (a plus)
