Construction Engineer – Design

About the role

The organization is looking for a Construction Engineer specialized in design to develop, detail and manage technical documentation for building projects. The role involves creating constructive drawings, preparing reinforcement tables, and ensuring compliance with current standards and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Draw, edit and detail constructive projects throughout all design phases.
• Prepare and update technical drawings, plans, sections and construction details.
• Compile the technical documentation required for project submission.
• Detail reinforcement, reinforced‑concrete elements and other structural components.
• Verify that technical documentation complies with applicable standards and norms.
• Collaborate with designers and other disciplines to coordinate technical aspects of projects.
• Make corrections and updates to documentation as requested by the responsible designer.
• Organise, administer and archive technical documentation.
• Participate in solving technical issues arising during the design process.
• Respect deadlines set for task completion.

Required profile

• University degree in Construction Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and other drafting software.
• Ability to read, interpret and process constructive drawings.
• Familiarity with standards, norms and technical legislation in design and construction.
• Experience preparing reinforcement tables, sections and accompanying technical documents.
• Team‑working and coordination skills with other design disciplines.
• Good organisational abilities and time‑management.
• Professional responsibility, accuracy and attention to detail.
