About the role

PROGEEN sh.p.k. is seeking a Construction Cost Engineer to join its technical team. The role involves monitoring project costs, preparing cost estimates, and performing technical price analyses to support budgeting and financial control for construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare project budgets by calculating work item costs based on estimates and any additional works required during execution.
• Analyze and control project expenditures to ensure alignment with the approved budget.
• Update cost estimates using market price data and project specifications.
• Conduct market price and labor cost analyses to optimize budget planning.
• Identify potential financial risks affecting project costs and propose preventive measures.
• Calculate technical‑economic coefficients and assist in monthly budgeting, cost reporting, and cash‑flow tracking.
• Generate monthly cost statements, measurement reports, and technical price analyses following established methodologies.
• Coordinate with the Finance Department on subcontractor invoicing and cost tracking throughout project phases.
• Prepare financial packages for public procurement and final technical documentation, including as‑built estimates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering, Economics, Project Management or a related field.
• Up to 2 years of experience in cost analysis for large construction projects.
• Ability to adapt to new construction market technologies and requirements.
• Strong teamwork, analytical mindset, attention to detail, and good communication skills.
• Knowledge of construction standards and regulations.
