Phone Collector Officer – Early Collection Unit

About the role
The Phone Collector Officer works in the Early Collection Unit of the bank, performing daily phone collection activities based on prioritisation set by the Team Leader and using the AutoDialer system.
Key responsibilities
- Contact early‑warning customers by phone following bank strategies.
- Call customers in arrears using the auto‑dialer, prioritising by days past due.
- Inform and persuade clients to settle past‑due amounts through clear communication.
- Handle calls for different customer buckets using prescribed scripts.
- Enter all actions into the Collection Systems (Debt Manager, Auto Dialer) and update contact information.
Required profile
- University degree in Economics or a related field.
- At least one year of relevant experience in the banking sector (preferred).
- Very good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fast learner with strong English proficiency.
- Good computer literacy.
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
