Data Analyst / BI Consultant

About the role

A North American client is looking for a capable, self-directed data professional to join its team. The person will enter a multi-system environment, clean the data and build dashboards that give Sales, Finance and Professional Services teams visibility they do not currently have. The engagement is independent and hands-on, with minimal hand-holding.

Key responsibilities

• Build operational dashboards in Power BI and/or Claude pulling from multiple systems such as Salesforce, NetSuite, Jira and a homegrown project tracking tool.
• Assess and clean data quality issues, mainly in Salesforce, so the underlying data is reliable before reporting.
• Work with stakeholders in Sales, Finance and Professional Services to understand their needs and turn them into usable outputs.
• Map and document data flows between systems, identifying gaps, inconsistencies and integration points.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, BI development or a closely related role, senior enough to handle multiple business functions without guidance.
• Strong communicator able to work across sales, finance and operations.

Required skills

• Hands-on Power BI: building dashboards, data modeling and connecting multiple data sources.
• Salesforce experience, including data cleanup, reporting and understanding how CRM data flows downstream.
• Comfort with NetSuite, Jira and project management tools.
