Migration Secretariat Support Consultant – IOM (3 positions)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking three Migration Secretariat Support Consultants to work on the EU4Migration in Albania project. Based in Tirana, the consultants will support the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MoIA) Technical Secretariat on Migration in monitoring, coordinating and reporting on the implementation of the National Strategy on Migration (NSM) and its Action Plan.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the MoIA Technical Secretariat in tracking progress of NSM and Action Plan measures.
• Prepare and consolidate reports for EU4Migration project deliverables.
• Facilitate coordination between IOM, MoIA and other governmental institutions.
• Support the deployment of seconded staff to relevant ministries.
• Contribute to the alignment of Albanian migration policies with EU acquis and the EU Common Position.

Required profile

• Experience in migration governance, asylum procedures or related public‑policy projects.
• Familiarity with EU migration frameworks and Albanian national migration strategy.
• Strong analytical and reporting abilities.
• Ability to work in a multi‑stakeholder environment and liaise with government officials.
