Senior Financial Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant manages the organization's financial records, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely reporting. The role covers preparing financial statements, maintaining general ledger accounts, supporting audits and helping with budgeting and forecasting. It reports to the CFO.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with accounting standards.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, keeping them accurate and complete.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice verification and payment processing.
• Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts and variance analyses.
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and help prepare tax returns.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare bank reconciliations.
• Identify process improvements and work with other departments on accurate financial data.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience.
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA or equivalent preferred.
• Proven experience in financial accounting.

• Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
