Investment Fund Risk Associate

About the role

Deloitte Albania is looking for an Investment Fund Risk Associate to deliver high-quality risk analysis and analytics solutions for its investment fund clients across Europe. The role involves supporting clients with regulatory market risk and performance metrics, working within a local and international team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a sound knowledge of clients' fund products and assist them in implementing risk and fund analytics solutions, focusing on regulatory market risk and performance metrics.
• Liaise with stakeholders to collect, review and validate input data for analytics computations.
• Ensure analytics solutions meet regulatory requirements, clients' needs and best market practices.
• Develop expertise in the statistical analysis of financial and derivatives instruments.
• Take part in client on-boarding projects and provide regular support to client inquiries.
• Contribute to improving the analytics platform's processes and libraries using the latest technologies.
• Take part in market and regulatory analysis and article preparation.
• Maintain process and workflow documentation, identify potential breaches and escalate where required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Econometrics, Applied Mathematics or Business Engineering.
• Experience in the investment fund industry and in a client-facing role is preferred.
• Rigorous, quality-driven and result-oriented, with excellent analytical and synthetic skills.
• Clear communicator, able to work autonomously and in a team.
• Fluent in English, French or German is an asset.

Required skills

• Strong skills in financial risk, statistics and mathematics.
• Knowledge of Excel VBA, Python, R, Access or Matlab is an asset.
