Senior Cost Engineer

About the role

FareBau Albania is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Engineer to develop cost estimates and calculate quantities for construction projects. The role supports efficient project planning and execution through accurate technical‑economic documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates and calculate project costs based on technical drawings and specifications.
• Determine work quantities from technical designs and related documentation.
• Analyze projects to ensure consistency between drawings, technical specifications, and cost estimates.
• Update estimates in response to design changes and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with designers, implementation engineers, and other departments to verify data accuracy.
• Perform preliminary cost assessments for new projects and monitor actual versus estimated quantities.

Required profile

• University degree in Construction Engineering or Economic Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience preparing cost estimates and calculating quantities in the construction sector.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with construction legislation, technical standards, market analysis and cost monitoring.
