Reporting, Tax and OPEX Specialist

About the role

The Reporting, Tax and OPEX Specialist is responsible for financial statement (FI) invoice fiscalization and FI operational entries. The position covers the recording and control of purchase invoices, reverse charge invoices, taxes and fees, month-end accruals and postings of financial expenses, incomes and liabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Keep accurate records of purchase invoices from domestic and foreign vendors and check their compliance with the purchase order, general ledger account and tax code.
• Record and fiscalize reverse charge invoices for services received from foreign vendors, and fiscalize FI invoices.
• Update the status of electronic invoices in the fiscalization software.
• Book all other taxes and fees from municipalities and other state institutions.
• Book accrual and deferred expenses for month-end closing and the corresponding release of deferred expenses.
• Post financial expenses, incomes and liabilities such as FX gains or losses, interest accruals and loan reclassifications, and post accounting adjustments and reclassifications.
• Prepare and declare the Purchase and Sales Book, and follow up on advance payments to vendors with the relevant departments.

Required profile

• University degree.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in the relevant field or a closely related area.
