Maintenance Team Lead - Photovoltaic Park "Blue 2"

About the role

Prime Energy Solution, part of Blessed Investment Group, provides integrated renewable energy and energy infrastructure services, from feasibility and design through commissioning, operation and maintenance. It is looking for a Maintenance Team Lead for the Blue 2 photovoltaic plant, its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and substation. The role combines team leadership with hands-on technical work, planning and supervising preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting faults and minimising production downtime. Maintenance plans, major technical decisions and operational changes need the review and approval of the Head of O&M.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance across the photovoltaic plant, BESS and substation.
• Inspect, test and troubleshoot inverters, medium-voltage stations, transformers, LV/MV panels, DC/AC systems, batteries, UPS and auxiliary equipment.
• Inspect PV strings, cables, connectors, fuses and grounding systems, and perform electrical measurements and diagnostic tests.
• Lead the maintenance team, assign priorities, monitor performance and support technical training and development.
• Use SCADA and diagnostic tools to monitor equipment performance, identify faults and improve maintenance planning.
• Ensure compliance with technical standards, manufacturer instructions and health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and prepare reports on plant availability, equipment condition, incidents and repairs.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and internal teams, and propose improvements to equipment reliability and maintenance practices.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience in electrical maintenance within photovoltaic plants, energy infrastructure or industrial facilities.
• Experience coordinating maintenance activities and supervising technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of electrical equipment, fault diagnosis, testing and safe working procedures.
• Familiarity with SCADA and maintenance documentation.
• Strong planning, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with BESS and substations is an advantage.
