Maintenance Technician – Electronics Assembly Factory

About the role

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment, machines and technical systems in an electronics assembly factory. The main goal is to ensure safe, reliable and uninterrupted operation of plant machinery and infrastructure, minimizing defects, unplanned downtime and risks to production and product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out regular preventive checks of machines and technical systems, including air compressors, HVAC and ventilation systems, UPS and batteries, and visual inspections for damage or leaks.
• Identify and report faults and deviations, carry out basic repairs and preventive work according to manufacturer instructions and safety rules, and follow daily, weekly and monthly maintenance plans.
• Complete checklists and technical documentation, and cooperate with production to solve technical problems that could stop the line.
• Monitor equipment after maintenance, inform the supervisor of critical faults and spare parts needs, and keep technical areas clean and tidy.
• Follow health and safety procedures, use personal protective equipment and isolate energy before working.
• Improve processes with colleagues, attend periodic training and certifications, and take on other tasks benefiting the company.

Required profile

• Secondary vocational education or qualification in electrical, electronic, mechanical or mechatronics engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing factory.
• Good communication skills, attention to detail, teamwork, organisation and problem-solving ability.
• Knowledge of industrial equipment, air compressors, HVAC, ventilation and UPS systems.
