Finance Director

About the role

CapsLock, a digital marketing services provider offering sales consulting, data analytics and recruitment support, is looking for a Finance Director to oversee all financial aspects of its fast-growing business. The role ensures accuracy in financial reporting and provides strategic guidance to support business goals, reporting to the Chief Finance Officer.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the bookkeeping, FP&A and taxation/compliance teams
• Oversee accounting and lead the implementation and improvement of financial and accounting policies
• Oversee the budgeting process, supervise plan/fact analysis and give recommendations
• Ensure timely and accurate financial and investment reporting for the group of companies
• Assist with internal controls and lead internal audits to ensure compliance with financial procedures
• Oversee tax filings, regulatory reports, statutory compliance and tax planning and optimisation for the group
• Navigate M&A transactions, including initial financial assessments, due diligence and post-merger integration
• Improve financial processes, systems and reporting
• Share insights on financial performance and key metrics with the executive team and manage relationships with banks, tax advisers and external consultants

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field; MBA, CPA or ACCA preferred
• At least 10 years of finance experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Experience with financial reporting, month-end and year-end processes, and IFRS/GAAP compliance
• Proven track record in financial planning, analysis and management in a fast-paced environment
• Fluent English and ability to work with a diverse, remote global team
