Economist – Financial Data & Warehouse Management

About the role

The Economist will be responsible for managing and processing the company’s financial data, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and proper reporting while supporting warehouse and inventory operations.

Key responsibilities

• Record all sales and purchase invoices accurately in accounting and inventory systems.
• Monitor incoming and outgoing movement of goods in the warehouse.
• Verify completeness of warehouse documentation such as invoices, delivery orders, and requisition forms.
• Maintain warehouse inventory records and perform regular finance‑warehouse reconciliations.
• Conduct periodic inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Oversee receipt and handover of goods, ensuring accurate warehouse records.
• Record cash transactions, manage daily cash register, and perform cash reconciliations.
• Collaborate with Finance/Accounting on warehouse, inventory, invoice, and cash matters.
• Ensure compliance with applicable legislation and internal procedures.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned to maintain operational efficiency.

Required profile

• University degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar finance or inventory role.
• Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles.
• Experience preparing and recording sales and purchase invoices.
• High level of accuracy, responsibility, and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Financa 5 software.
