Back Office Controller

About the role

AUTO1 Group is seeking a Back Office Controller to join its Production team in Tirana. You will focus on financial controlling for vehicle maintenance and repair operations in the German market, ensuring accurate cost tracking and supporting efficient processes.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, analyse and control costs related to vehicle maintenance and repair activities.
• Validate and document production‑related financial data and invoices.
• Calculate and track maintenance and repair costs per vehicle.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support cost control and streamline financial processes.
• Analyse cost data, identify trends and deviations, and provide insights for business decisions.
• Prepare regular reports and performance analyses.
• Support budget monitoring, actual cost tracking and financial performance assessment.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimisation.
• Assist in automating and further developing controlling tools and processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• Several years of experience in controlling, finance or accounting.
• Experience in cost or production controlling is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• High level of ownership and accountability.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
