Accounting and Tax Specialist – Albania

About the role

Eurofast is expanding its Albania office and seeks a dynamic Accounting and Tax Specialist to support clients and internal teams. You will ensure accurate accounting records, compliance with local tax laws, and deliver high‑quality financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and oversee accounting records and the general ledger.
• Draft and analyse monthly and annual financial statements in line with Albanian accounting standards.
• Ensure compliance with local tax legislation and manage tax filings (VAT, WHT, payroll, corporate income tax, etc.).
• Improve financial processes and internal controls.
• Provide tax consultancy, handle tax assessments and support tax audits.
• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
• Prepare and submit required management reports.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar accounting or tax role.
• Strong knowledge of Albanian tax legislation and Albanian National Accounting Standards.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work proactively.
• Excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills; team player.
