Staff / Senior Accountant

About the role

LMC is looking for a motivated Staff or Senior Accountant to join its Tirana office. You will work in a team‑oriented environment, handling a variety of accounting assignments while supporting the company’s financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain financial reports, general ledger accounts and oversee journal entries, analyses and account reconciliations.
• Prepare documentation for accounts payable and receivable, conduct internal audits and perform monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Meet processing and reporting deadlines, respond to information requests and assist with external audits.
• Monitor work‑in‑progress to ensure projects stay within budgeted periods.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance; ACCA/CPA preferred.
• 1‑5 years of professional accounting experience, depending on the level applied for.
• Strong numeracy, analytical abilities and excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Highly organized, able to prioritize tasks in a deadline‑driven environment and handle confidential information with discretion.

Required skills

• Proficiency with QuickBooks accounting software.
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including spreadsheet management, chart creation and complex formulas.
