Senior Accountant

About the role

SALILLARI Sh.p.k., a construction company with more than 30 years of experience covering infrastructure, civil works, oil pipelines, building materials production and industrial projects, is looking for a Senior Accountant. The role covers bookkeeping, financial reporting, tax compliance and cash management.

Key responsibilities

• Register documents in the books (invoices, bank statements, cash receipts) and follow them up
• Prepare periodic financial reports according to the Financial Director's instructions
• Keep the warehouse inventory, item cards and reconcile them with accounting
• Maintain the accounting system in line with tax legislation and accounting principles
• Prepare financial statements, balance sheets and declare taxes and VAT
• Coordinate with the tax authorities, the Central Bank and banks
• Manage bank collections and payments, and analyse income and expenses
• Apply company policies, directives and procedures

Required profile

• University degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting
• More than 5 years of work experience; construction industry experience preferred
• Good teamwork skills
• Very good English

Required skills

• Good knowledge of Navision or a similar financial software
• Advanced Microsoft Office (an advantage)
