About the role

The Procurement Specialist will create and maintain a database of suppliers and vendors, ensuring that the company obtains the required products and materials within project budgets. You will work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with internal departments and external partners to support the company's objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Research and evaluate potential suppliers to meet project specifications and requirements.
• Prepare request for quotation (RFQ) documents based on departmental needs.
• Analyze received offers and select the best option according to technical and budgetary criteria.
• Negotiate terms, pricing and availability with suppliers.
• Coordinate order fulfillment with suppliers and logistics to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain and update supplier databases, statistics and reporting tools.
• Monitor procurement schedules and adjust plans as needed.
• Stay informed about market trends and emerging sourcing opportunities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Economic Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Minimum three years of professional experience in procurement or purchasing.
• Strong communication, teamwork and dedication to meeting deadlines.
• Analytical, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to achieve objectives within set timeframes.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience using MS Project for planning and tracking.
