Service Desk Support Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Service Desk Support Specialist to join our IT department and ensure smooth operation of computer systems and networks. The role is ideal for a tech‑enthusiast who enjoys solving problems in a fast‑paced environment and contributing to IT projects.

Key responsibilities

• Install and configure hardware such as computers, printers and scanners.
• Manage ticket requests through the Helpdesk system and provide timely resolutions.
• Support onboarding of new users, handle account issues and enforce security measures.
• Participate in IT projects, testing and evaluating new technology solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems with analytical rigor.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support or a similar technical role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work shifts, travel occasionally within Tirana and across Albania, and collaborate with colleagues at all levels.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Windows Desktop Operating Systems.
• Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (preferred).
• Hardware installation and configuration.
• Printer and scanner setup.
• Helpdesk ticketing system usage.
• User account management.
• Security best practices.
