Senior Financial Audit Associate – EMEA Acceleration Centre

About the role

Join PwC's EMEA Acceleration Centre as a Senior Financial Audit Associate and work on complex, multinational audit engagements without relocating. You will collaborate with PwC network firms across the region, gaining international exposure while delivering high‑quality audit services.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with overseas PwC network firms and EMEA AC colleagues on financial audit engagements.
• Perform financial statement review procedures in line with auditing standards and PwC methodology.
• Execute advanced audit procedures on complex areas, including policy reviews, detailed testing, and qualitative evaluations.
• Delegate tasks, coach junior team members, and review their work.
• Stay current with changes in audit methodologies, technologies, and client requirements.
• Collaborate with engagement teams, internal stakeholders, and clients to ensure effective communication, risk escalation, and issue resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in financial audit.
• Fluent business English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong analytical, project‑management, and communication skills.
• Adaptability to a fast‑changing regulatory environment and a commitment to continuous learning.
• Progress toward ACCA or another internationally recognised certification, or willingness to enroll.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft 365 suite.
• Knowledge of IFRS and international auditing standards.
