Senior Corporate Credit Officer

About the role

The Senior Corporate Credit Officer will join Tirana Bank’s Business Credit Department and report directly to the Department Manager. The role is responsible for independently assessing, analysing and recommending credit proposals for corporate banking clients while ensuring strict compliance with the bank’s credit risk policy, regulatory requirements and risk appetite.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse credit proposals for working‑capital facilities, term loans, investment financing, trade finance and other structured credit products.
• Evaluate clients’ financial condition, cash‑flow generation, business model, industry position and management quality.
• Identify and assess key credit risks, including industry, market, operational, liquidity, collateral and concentration risks.
• Review financial statements, projections, business plans and independent valuations; perform stress‑testing and sensitivity analysis where appropriate.
• Apply the bank’s credit policy to corporate clients and actively promote the bank’s full range of products and services.
• Prepare comprehensive credit assessment memoranda and formulate clear recommendations for credit approval.

Required profile

• Qualified candidate with proven experience in corporate credit analysis and lending.
• Strong understanding of credit risk policies, regulatory frameworks and risk‑appetite guidelines.
• Ability to work independently, make sound judgments and communicate recommendations effectively.
• Direct reporting to the Business Credit Department Manager.
