Senior Tax Accountant

Key responsibilities

• Proactively assist in the management of several clients, reporting to Managers and above.
• Train and lead staff members.
• Establish effective working relationships directly with clients.
• Contribute to the development of your own and the team’s technical acumen.
• Stay up‑to‑date with local and national business and economic issues.
• Participate in business development activities to identify and research opportunities on new or existing clients.
• Continue to develop internal relationships and promote the PwC brand.

Required profile

• Bachelor or Master degree in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics or statistics.
• 4‑6 years of experience in accounting/finance and tax compliance, including VAT, corporate income tax and payroll.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, national accounting standards and Albanian tax legislation.
• ACC A qualification is an advantage.
• Commitment to a long‑term career in tax and accounting.
• Excellent command of English and ability to work in a team.
