Senior Accountant

About the role

LMC is looking for an energetic Senior Accountant to join its Tirana office. You will work in a team‑oriented environment, handling a variety of accounting assignments while supporting the company’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and oversee journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations; assist with monthly close processes.
• Organise documentation for accounts payable and receivable and conduct internal audits.
• Perform monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations and ensure deadlines are met.
• Respond to information requests, review financial statements, and assist with external audits.
• Support the accounting services department as needed.
• Monitor work‑in‑progress to ensure projects stay within budgeted periods.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• ACCA or CPA certification preferred.
• 1–5 years of professional accounting experience.
• Proficiency in English with strong written and verbal communication.
• Excellent analytical, time‑management and confidentiality skills.
• Ability to work additional hours during tax season.

Required skills

• QuickBooks experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (formulas, charts, large data sets).
