Risk, Compliance & Control Monitoring Lead (Italian Language)

About the role

We are looking for a Risk, Compliance & Control Monitoring Lead who will strengthen and continuously improve the financial and operational control environment across Vodafone Business. The role works with stakeholders across multiple markets, supporting risk assessments, assurance activities and remediation monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Promote, maintain and enhance an effective financial and operational control environment for Vodafone Business and related legal entities.
• Conduct risk assessments, control reviews and assurance activities to evaluate design and operating effectiveness of controls.
• Monitor compliance with group control frameworks and policies, and support timely resolution of identified gaps.
• Identify control weaknesses, improvement opportunities and audit findings, and help define and implement remediation plans.
• Review and monitor financial impacts arising from control weaknesses to support accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain and enhance controls documentation, testing methodologies and assurance reporting, using data analytics where appropriate.
• Deliver training, guidance and assurance insights to control owners and senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum four years of experience in internal or external audit, Sarbanes‑Oxley controls, internal controls assessment, risk management or related assurance activities.
• Strong analytical ability to examine complex business processes, identify risks and propose solutions independently.
• Proven capability to deliver high‑quality work within agreed timelines in a fast‑changing environment.
• Fluent in Italian and English.

Required skills

• Experience with Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) control frameworks.
• Proficiency in risk assessment and control testing methodologies.
• Ability to use data‑analytics techniques for assurance reporting.
