Part-Time Accountant – Remote for US Re/Insurance Client

About the role

This is a client‑facing accounting position hired by Skenderbeg Services. You will work remotely from Albania, handling the books, invoicing and financial reporting for a US‑based re/insurance client on a part‑time basis.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day bookkeeping and accounting tasks for the US re/insurance client.
• Prepare, reconcile and post invoices, expense reports and financial statements.
• Support month‑end close processes and generate related reports.
• Communicate directly with the client’s finance team on financial matters.
• Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with US accounting practices.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of accounting experience (mid‑career level).
• Based in Albania with strong written and spoken English.
• Experience with US or international accounting/bookkeeping practices; re/insurance exposure is a plus.
• Comfortable working independently and liaising with an international client.

Required skills

• Proficiency with QuickBooks.
• Advanced Excel skills.
