Junior Water Engineer – Early Professionals Program (Western Balkans)

About the role

The Early Professionals Program – Water Sector offers recent graduates a chance to start their career as a Junior Water Engineer in the Western Balkans. You will join a hybrid‑work team supporting the Utility of the Future (UoF) Initiative, a joint effort by SUEZ Consulting and the World Bank to strengthen water and sanitation utilities across six countries.

Key responsibilities

• Assist utility teams in implementing water and sanitation projects.
• Participate in capacity‑building activities and sector‑related training sessions.
• Collaborate with international experts and World Bank water specialists.
• Support data collection, analysis, and reporting for project milestones.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or young professional with a degree in engineering, environmental sciences, public policy, IT/digitisation or a related field.
• Strong interest in the water and sanitation sector and a commitment to regional development.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid setting across the Western Balkans.
