Agronomist Sales Manager

About the role

Agrimatco LTD is seeking an Agronomist Sales Manager to drive sales of crop protection, nutrition, seeds and related products across an assigned territory. The role combines field sales, technical agronomic advice and customer relationship management to increase market share.

Key responsibilities

• Visit existing and new customers daily to discuss needs, present product solutions and process orders.
• Conduct agronomy trials at customer sites, collect and analyse data, and use results to refine recommendations.
• Prepare sales invoices, dispatch products and follow up on payments.
• Develop short‑term sales plans with the manager, monitor competitor activity and report market feedback.
• Deliver product demonstrations and training sessions to customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy or Agricultural Science.
• 3–5 years of field sales experience in agro‑chemicals, seeds or fertilizers.
• Good command of English and a valid driving licence.
• Proven ability to build strong customer relationships and achieve sales targets.

Required skills

• Understanding of growers’ needs and ability to recommend practical agronomic solutions.
• Consultative selling and persuasive communication.
• Organising visits, handling orders accurately and following up on commitments.
• Using field trial results and competitor insights to improve recommendations.
