Junior PHP Developer (Laravel)

About the role

We are a growing digital transformation and software development company looking for a motivated Junior PHP Developer to join our team in Prishtina. You will work on real customer and internal software projects, primarily using PHP and Laravel, while receiving guidance, code reviews, and regular feedback.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications with PHP and Laravel.
• Implement new features based on technical requirements and user stories.
• Build and integrate REST APIs.
• Work with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Fix bugs and improve existing functionality.
• Write clean, understandable, and maintainable code.
• Support automated testing efforts.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, project managers, and other team members.
• Document work and keep tasks up to date.

Required profile

• Approximately one year of practical PHP development experience.
• Hands‑on experience with Laravel from professional, academic, freelance or personal projects.
• Solid understanding of object‑oriented programming.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Basic knowledge of REST APIs and web application architecture.
• Familiarity with Git version control.
• Ability to work independently on clearly defined tasks and ask questions when needed.
• Excellent English communication skills (C1/C2 level).
• Based in or near Prishtina and able to work in a hybrid setup.
