Junior IT Support Specialist (Albania)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior IT Support Specialist to provide first‑line technical assistance to our employees in Albania. You will work closely with senior IT staff to ensure workstations, peripherals and network connectivity are reliable and secure.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑line support for hardware and basic software issues on desktops and laptops, including setup, imaging, updates and troubleshooting.
• Maintain device inventory, asset tags and manage onboarding/off‑boarding of employee equipment.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot printers, scanners and other peripheral devices.
• Ensure wired and wireless network connectivity, perform cable checks, Wi‑Fi configuration and basic router/switch troubleshooting.
• Perform routine OS maintenance, antivirus checks, backups and document all actions in the ticketing system.
• Assist with user account setup, password resets and access provisioning in coordination with senior staff.
• Escalate complex hardware, network or security issues following defined procedures.
• Support office moves, workstation relocations and related cabling tasks.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience supporting a business environment.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and clear communication skills.
• Ability to follow escalation procedures and work under the direction of senior IT personnel.
• Basic understanding of hardware repair, component swaps and cable management.

• Windows OS installation, imaging and configuration
• macOS troubleshooting
• Linux basics (plus)
• Printer and peripheral installation and troubleshooting
• TCP/IP, DHCP, Wi‑Fi setup and cable testing
• Active Directory or equivalent account management
• Mobile Device Management (MDM) enrollment
• Ticketing system usage and documentation
• Hardware repair basics (component swaps, peripheral replacement)
