Microsoft-Fabric / Power-BI Platform Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Microsoft Fabric / Power BI Platform Engineer to design and maintain data pipelines, build data models and create analytics solutions that help teams make informed decisions. The role is based in a central office in Tirana and offers the chance to work on international client projects.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines in Microsoft Fabric, integrating data from multiple sources.
• Design, optimise and document data models for reporting and analytics.
• Develop Power BI dashboards and reports using DAX and Power Query.
• Explore data to detect patterns, anomalies and emerging trends, and propose forecasting ideas.
• Collaborate with product owners, analysts and software engineers to translate business questions into data solutions.
• Monitor data quality, troubleshoot issues and improve performance of pipelines and reports.
• Apply security, access‑control, governance and documentation practices across the platform.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence or analytics development.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including building data pipelines and lakehouse/warehouse solutions.
• Solid understanding of data modelling, schemas and relationships for reporting.
• Experience creating Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Good SQL skills and familiarity with Python or a similar scripting language.
• Analytical mindset able to turn business questions into data investigations and clear explanations.
• Fluent communication in English and Albanian.
