Junior IT Application Specialist

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a motivated Junior IT Application Specialist to provide day‑to‑day support for SAP HCM within its global HR systems landscape. You will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with internal customers, senior consultants and other subject‑matter experts to ensure smooth operation of HR applications.

Key responsibilities

• Provide application support for SAP HCM, handling incidents and service requests via the ticketing system.
• Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve issues, communicating status updates to stakeholders.
• Execute operational procedures, including regular system health checks and compliance tasks.
• Monitor cross‑system interfaces to maintain data accuracy and HR data quality.
• Assist with reporting, data analysis and contribute to operational transparency.

Required profile

• Willingness to learn new systems and technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills in English.
• Service‑oriented mindset with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Experience with SAP ERP, preferably SAP HCM.
• Familiarity with ITSM/ticketing tools such as ServiceNow.
• Basic understanding of SAP HCM modules (Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, Payroll integrations).
• Exposure to HR systems integration, interfaces or data reconciliation processes.
