Microsoft Dynamics CRM Developer

About the role

ASTech is looking for a Microsoft Dynamics CRM Developer to customize, maintain, integrate and extend its client's CRM environment, from troubleshooting and performance optimization to integration with other business systems. The role suits someone with about 5+ years of commercial software development experience who can work independently and deliver realistic estimates.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, customize and maintain Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2016 according to business requirements.
• Develop and maintain plugins, custom workflow activities, JavaScript customizations and business rules.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation and troubleshooting.
• Develop and maintain SSIS packages using KingswaySoft to resolve data-related issues.
• Support CRM integrations with legacy and modern systems through APIs or batch jobs.
• Troubleshoot bugs, resolve performance issues and maintain existing applications and code developed by other teams.
• Conduct code reviews, maintain technical documentation and follow coding standards.
• Manage competing priorities, give realistic task estimates and communicate progress, risks and issues across project workstreams.

Required profile

• Approximately 5+ years of commercial software development experience, including substantial hands-on work with Dynamics CRM 2016 and Microsoft technologies.
• A strong C#/.NET and SQL engineering background, combining CRM customization with broader enterprise application development.
• Experience maintaining, debugging and extending existing enterprise CRM solutions, and working with existing and legacy systems.
• Ability to work independently, estimate tasks accurately and communicate with technical teams and stakeholders.

Required skills

• Dynamics CRM 2016: configuration, customization, plugins, custom workflows, JavaScript and business rules.
• C#.NET Framework, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
• Strong SQL and T-SQL, including practical experience with SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience with SSIS and KingswaySoft.
• Unit testing, integration testing and code reviews; exposure to Power Platform, REST APIs, Azure DevOps/TFS and Git is valuable.
