About the role

The International financial services organization specializing in credit management is seeking an IT Manager to lead the design, development, and maintenance of backend applications. You will be responsible for shaping the architecture, ensuring scalability, and supporting the team in a dynamic, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead development of backend applications using PHP 8.1+ and frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony.
• Design and govern micro‑services architectures, ensuring performance and maintainability.
• Manage MySQL and PostgreSQL databases, applying sound data‑design principles.
• Oversee integrations with message brokers like RabbitMQ and Kafka.
• Support distributed caching solutions, including Redis.
• Define Git version‑control standards and supervise CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Facilitate containerized deployments with Docker; Kubernetes knowledge is a plus.

Required profile

• 1‑8 years of experience in a similar IT management role.
• Strong expertise in PHP 8.1+ and Laravel or Symfony.
• Proven experience designing micro‑services and working with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Hands‑on experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka, Redis, Doctrine, and Eloquent ORM.
• Advanced knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and container technologies.
• Italian (B2) and English (C1) language proficiency.
