Intermediate Full Stack Developer (Freelance) – Tech Studio

About the role

We are looking for an intermediate full‑stack developer to work on a freelance basis for a tech studio in Tirana. You will build complete products from concept to launch, collaborating directly with founders and clients to understand needs and deliver value.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end web applications using React and Node.js.
• Create and maintain databases (MongoDB or PostgreSQL) and RESTful APIs, including authentication and security layers.
• Communicate progress, risks and blockers daily with stakeholders.
• Fix production bugs promptly and make technical decisions that shape the product.
• Participate in code reviews, Git workflows and deployment pipelines.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of professional experience with React and Node.js in production.
• Delivered at least two complete products that are used by real users.
• Comfortable speaking with non‑technical clients and founders.
• Proactive, self‑organised and able to work onsite 4‑5 days a week.
• Product‑ownership mindset – understand the “why” behind features.
