French‑Speaking Short‑Term Rental Virtual Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a French‑Speaking STR Specialist to support the day‑to‑day operations of our short‑term rental portfolio. The ideal candidate is fluent in French and English, highly organized, and experienced in guest communication and property management operations.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with guests in French and English across Airbnb, Booking.com, VRBO, and other platforms.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and issues throughout their stay.
• Manage reservations, availability, check‑ins, check‑outs, and guest information.
• Coordinate cleaning, maintenance, and other property‑related services.
• Monitor guest reviews and help maintain high satisfaction and service standards.
• Assist with listing updates, property information, pricing, and availability.
• Coordinate with cleaners, maintenance teams, and property owners to resolve operational issues.
• Monitor calendars across booking platforms and ensure accuracy.
• Escalate urgent guest or property issues when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records and provide regular operational updates.

Required profile

• Fluent French and English – written and spoken.
• Previous experience in short‑term rentals, hospitality, property management, or guest services.
• Familiarity with Airbnb, Booking.com, and VRBO.
• Experience with PMS/channel‑management systems such as Guesty, Hostaway, Hostfully, Hospitable, or similar platforms (a plus).
• Strong written communication and customer‑service skills.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple properties/reservations.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends or occasional holidays.
