Finance Officer – Accounts Receivable and Payables

About the role
Media Intel is looking to hire a full-time finance officer. The role covers accounts receivable and payables, cash management and financial reporting, working closely with the accounting department.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and control sales and purchase invoices, and update customer and supplier data
- Record financial transactions and bookkeeping entries in the Financa 5 program
- Reconcile accounts periodically with customers, suppliers and banks, and manage the cash box
- Prepare payment lists and make bank payments on time according to approvals
- Prepare periodic financial reports and monitor cash flow
- Follow up on customer payments and supplier obligations, recording unpaid invoices and delays
- Organise, control and archive financial and bookkeeping documents with the accounting office
- Help prepare tax declaration and payment documentation within deadlines
- Check financial terms of contracts and offers against invoices and payments
Required profile
- Practical knowledge of the Financa 5 program
- Good command of Microsoft Excel
