Electrical Engineer – Tirana

About the role

Rekruto.al is recruiting a full-time, on-site Electrical Engineer based in Tirana, Albania. The engineer designs and reviews electrical systems and layouts for various projects, ensuring compliance with technical standards and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform calculations and prepare technical drawings and documentation.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects and other engineers to integrate electrical solutions into overall designs.
• Oversee power distribution and power system installations.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and support testing, commissioning and maintenance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and support cost-effective, reliable solutions for clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals, applicable standards and safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, codes and specifications, and to produce clear, accurate reports.
• Fluency in Albanian and working proficiency in English are preferred.
• Previous experience in building services, industrial projects or infrastructure design is a plus.

Required skills

• Electrical design, including schematics, layouts and technical documentation.
• Power distribution and power systems, including load calculations and system optimization.
• Proficiency with engineering software such as AutoCAD and CAD-based electrical design tools; familiarity with power analysis tools is an advantage.
• Analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills, with attention to detail and quality.
• Effective communication and teamwork in a multidisciplinary, on-site environment.
