E-commerce Marketing Specialist

About the role

HealthMerch is seeking an E-commerce Marketing Specialist to own and revitalize the marketing engine for its "Say It With A Condom" Shopify store. The role focuses on aggressive revenue growth, regaining top Google rankings, and expanding outreach to health organizations, colleges, and corporate buyers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end marketing for the Shopify store, including product listings and day‑to‑day store operations.
• Develop and execute SEO strategies, including programmatic SEO, to recover #1 Google rankings.
• Plan and run outbound email campaigns targeting health NGOs, HIV groups, and college campuses.
• Create a marketing calendar around key dates (Pride, World AIDS Day, etc.) and launch themed campaigns.
• Brief the creative director on new condom designs tied to events, using AI tools for rapid concept generation.
• Coordinate with external contractors such as PPC, SEO, and PR teams.
• Identify and add complementary products (e.g., harm‑reduction kits) to the catalog.
• Seek PR and media opportunities and pitch relevant stories.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on e‑commerce marketing experience with measurable results.
• Strong SEO expertise with a goal of achieving top Google placement.
• Experience in email marketing and campaign creation.
• Comfort promoting sexual‑health products and engaging with LGBTQ+ and health‑focused audiences.
• Ability to work autonomously and build campaigns from scratch.
