Chief Marketing Officer – Remote (EMEA)

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Chief Marketing Officer to shape and lead the marketing function of a fast‑growing AI‑native cloud infrastructure startup. Reporting to the founders, you will craft the company’s positioning and drive demand across a global, remote team.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a global marketing and go‑to‑market strategy aligned with revenue goals.
• Own brand, messaging, and market differentiation for AI and cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Build demand‑generation programs across content, digital, events, partnerships, and community.
• Develop thought‑leadership content for technical and enterprise audiences.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Product and Engineering to create a scalable pipeline and improve conversion rates.
• Lead product marketing, launches, campaigns and market expansion initiatives.
• Recruit, manage and scale the marketing team and external partners.
• Track performance metrics such as pipeline contribution, CAC and ROI to continuously optimise execution.

Required profile

• 8+ years of B2B technology marketing experience with senior leadership responsibility.
• Proven track record in high‑growth tech companies or startups.
• Deep understanding of AI, cloud infrastructure, SaaS and developer platforms.
• Experience building positioning, demand generation and go‑to‑market strategies from scratch.
• Strong storytelling ability to simplify complex deep‑tech products.
• Analytical mindset with data‑driven decision making.
• Comfort operating hands‑on in an early‑stage, distributed environment.
