DP Geography and MYP History Teacher

About the role

Albanian College Tirana (ACT) seeks a full‑time, on‑site DP Geography and MYP History teacher. You will join a multicultural faculty and deliver inquiry‑based lessons that align with International Baccalaureate standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging DP Geography and MYP History units of inquiry.
• Prepare lesson plans, assessments and differentiate instruction for diverse learners.
• Provide timely feedback on student work and maintain accurate academic records.
• Contribute to curriculum development and interdisciplinary projects.
• Participate in school meetings, professional learning communities and collaborate with colleagues.
• Communicate regularly with families and promote an inclusive, internationally minded classroom environment.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree in History, Geography, Education or a related field; teaching qualification preferred.
• Experience teaching IB MYP and/or DP, ideally in an international or multicultural school.
• Strong command of English and excellent classroom management skills.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
