Local Consultant – Capacity‑Building Workshops for Modern Slavery Survivors (Phase III)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) seeks a local consultant to design, plan, prepare and deliver capacity‑building materials and two one‑day workshops in Tirana. The work supports Phase III of the project improving reintegration outcomes for survivors of modern slavery returning from the UK, targeting stakeholders from Shkodra, Kukës, Lezhë, Dibër and Tirana.

Key responsibilities

• Develop an inception note, detailed workplan and a comprehensive capacity‑building package, including methodology, agenda, materials and evaluation tools.
• Deliver two one‑day workshops, administer pre‑ and post‑activity evaluation tools, collect participant data and feedback, and submit a final report with recommendations for sustainability.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in Social Sciences, Law, Psychology, Social Work, Human Rights, Migration Studies, Education or related field.
• Minimum five years of professional experience in human trafficking, modern slavery, protection, return and reintegration, or victim assistance.
• Proven experience designing and delivering training, workshops and capacity‑building activities for institutional or civil‑society stakeholders.
• Good understanding of national protection, social‑service, referral and reintegration systems in Albania (preferred).
• Experience in monitoring and evaluation, including development and use of assessment tools (asset).
• Previous consultancy experience for international organisations (preferred).
