DevOps Engineer – Azure, Docker, FastAPI

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate a highly available Azure‑based platform that powers machine‑translation portals, LLM APIs, and related backend services. You will work closely with ML/NLP engineers to deliver inference services and ensure the platform remains secure, performant, and cost‑effective.

Key responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and scale Azure infrastructure for production services.
• Build and manage containerized workloads with Docker across development, staging, and production.
• Own end‑to‑end GitLab CI/CD pipelines, including merge, build, test, deployment, rollback, and release coordination.
• Deploy and operate FastAPI back‑ends and Vue.js front‑ends, handling configuration, scaling, and runtime monitoring.
• Configure and maintain Traefik as the reverse‑proxy layer, managing routing, SSL/TLS certificates, and service discovery.
• Administer Keycloak for authentication, authorization, identity federation, and SSO.
• Operate MySQL in production, covering schema management, backups, replication, and performance tuning.
• Implement infrastructure‑as‑code to make deployments reproducible and auditable.
• Build observability using Grafana, centralized logging, and metrics pipelines.
• Strengthen platform reliability, security posture, and disaster‑recovery procedures.
• Manage secrets, API credentials, and secure inter‑service communication.
• Optimize cloud resource utilization and operational costs.
• Troubleshoot production incidents across deployment, networking, performance, and infrastructure layers.

Required profile

• Strong production experience with Docker, GitLab CI/CD, Linux system administration, and Azure.
• Hands‑on experience deploying FastAPI services and Vue.js applications.
• Solid knowledge of Traefik, Keycloak, and MySQL in production environments.
• Experience with Grafana, observability stacks, and centralized logging.
• Good understanding of networking, reverse proxies, SSL/TLS, and API gateways.
• Familiarity with infrastructure‑as‑code tooling.
• Track record managing live production environments and release pipelines.
• Understanding of security best practices for APIs and cloud infrastructure.
