Country Lead, Retail

About the role

Wolt is seeking a driven and strategic Country Lead to head sales efforts for grocery and non‑grocery retail partners on its online delivery platform. You will lead a team of Account Managers and Account Specialists, focusing on growing and nurturing existing retail partners to maximise commercial success.

Key responsibilities

• Partner Growth – Deliver strategic, data‑driven performance insights and top‑tier consultation to drive commercial growth of existing retail partners.
• Portfolio Management – Oversee a portfolio of retail partners, ensuring value creation for partners, customers, couriers and Wolt.
• Data Analysis – Leverage analytical expertise to assess merchant performance, identify improvement areas and craft actionable insights.
• Process Innovation – Test scalable solutions for partner collaboration, evaluate impact and implement efficient workflows.
• Contract Negotiation – Re‑negotiate commercial terms with key partners to strengthen long‑term collaboration.
• Team Leadership – Set clear targets, provide coaching and lead by example to empower high performance.
• Team Well‑being – Foster a positive, supportive work culture where people feel valued and motivated.
• Best Practice Advocacy – Share expertise, guide structured consultation and champion operational excellence.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration – Ensure smooth communication across functions to align goals and optimise partner performance.

Required profile

• Extensive account‑management experience with retailers that match Wolt’s Ideal Customer Profile.
• Proven track record of managing and developing high‑performing sales teams in fast‑paced, tech‑enabled environments.
• Self‑starter with strong drive, entrepreneurial spirit and strategic mindset.
